- Summary:
- The faculty recruiting team is part of Faculty Affairs, Professional Development, and Diversity to coordinate faculty hiring. This faculty recruiting internship provides students with exposure to the school’s executive and faculty recruiting operations. The internship is designed to be a learning experience, and as such, the student may develop skills and knowledge in full-cycle recruitment, sourcing techniques, data tracking, and applicant tracking system maintenance, as well as supporting the dual career services while accomplishing assigned administrative tasks. The faculty recruiting team will provide the necessary training and guidance to complete assigned tasks.
- Internship Duties:

Provide basic administrative support to faculty recruiting team, such as:
Perform data entry and basic analysis related to faculty recruiting
Post job description in online venues and search contact addresses for sourcing lists (a list of names who can potentially apply to a certain position)
Improve relocation and other resources related to dual career visit planning
Meet regularly with the site supervisor to review assignments, discuss progress, and engage in discussion of topics relevant to the position
Carry out activities as established by the site supervisor and any additional responsibilities that are mutually agreed upon by the student and site supervisor
Complete weekly duty log and share with the site supervisor
Fulfill agreed upon time commitments and conduct oneself in a responsible and professional manner
- Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skill and ability and etiquette skills to host executive recruiting candidates. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. Detail oriented and self-starter.
