- This neurosciences internship provides students with exposure to university and clinical health financial operations. The internship is designed to be a learning experience, and as such, the student may develop skills and knowledge in financial management, decision support, and reporting while accomplishing assigned administrative tasks. This experience may enable students to shape their future academic and professional goals.
- Internship Duties:
- 1) Complete all required trainings as specified on the neuroscience student/intern training record; 2) complete the volunteer onboarding process as directed by neuroscience HR (includes background check and campus health screen); 3) sign the Neuroscience Center student/intern confidentiality agreement; 4) complete the neuroscience student/intern data and agreement form; 5) meet regularly with the site supervisor to review assignments, discuss progress, and engage in discussion of topics relevant to the position; 6) carry out activities as established by the site supervisor and any additional responsibilities that are mutually agreed upon by the student and site supervisor; 7) fulfill agreed-upon time commitments; and 8) conduct oneself in a responsible and professional manner.
