- Summary:
- Develop your writing skills, gain insight into campaign management, and support internal communication processes. This intern will be exposed to various areas of medicine and the faculty who work here. This unit provides services to support the growth and development of physicians at the IU School of Medicine. This internship will provide an opportunity to write copy and craft stories to promote our faculty programs, events, and awards. Your writing will be included in marketing mediums, such as blogs, web pages, emails, print materials and social media posts. This internship is perfect for anyone interested in learning more about medicine, and considering a future career in this area.
- Internship Duties:
- Develop and write stories and narratives for FAPDD programs, events and awards. The intern will support the Marketing and Communications Coordinator in the promotion of the various programs, events, and awards by conducting interviews, drafting marketing copy/blurbs, and copy editing existing language. Draft social media posts to be submitted to the IU School of Medicine’s social media accounts (facebook, twitter and Instagram). Research and identify best practices for internal communication and other duties as assigned.
